Your Main Activities Are

  • We are looking for a Junior ETF Trader, based in Lisbon within the Equity Derivatives team to support the London-based ETF Market-Making activity. ETF trading encompasses on-exchange market making, off-venue Risk and NAV trading, as well as Primary trading
  • Our new team member will focus on Primary and post-trade processes and will then grow into an active stakeholder for a variety of the trading desk’s activities, from technical to commercial perspectives
  • She/He will join a team of seasoned traders based in London and Paris and will support the strong growth of the BNP Paribas ETF trading franchise. ETF Trading is part of the larger BNP Paribas AMM trading group
  • Main responsibilities will be the following 
    • Ensuring accurate Primary and NAV trades booking
    • Monitoring of Settlement Risk
    • Electronic Market-Making support
    • Assist in relevant where needed, including partake in platform improvement initiatives and helping traders to maintain Python codes related to Booking/Sett/Ref and Reports

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Masters Degree in Engineering, or similar field
  • Advanced English Level is mandatory
  • Knowledge in
    • Financial Markets
    • Data Intelligence, Research and Quant Analytics
  • Be able to work in a stressful environment
  • Reliable and rigorous
  • Data science: Python
  • Team oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills

About the Team 

  • AMM (Automated Market Making) activities are ranging from building electronic market-making strategies, also design, execution strategies to provide liquidity internally and externally on a wide range of products and subsequently hedging risk inherited from client-facing, internal and on-exchange flows
  • AMM activities rely upon a state-of-the art technical architecture, low-latency trading systems and market-accesses
