About the job
  • The Credit Insurance Syndicate (CIS) Officer, as a part of the Credit Insurance Syndication, will be a part of the Bank’s credit insurance distribution channel. Credit Insurance can be used for risk management, optimisation origination capabilities and RWA, EVC or deal metrics optimisation.
Your Main Activities Are
  • Assist more experienced team members of the Transaction Team in the implementation of policies, as well as in the execution of those policies, to acquire the fundamental knowledge in Credit Insurance Distribution
  • Ensure the proper input of the transactions in the relevant internal systems
  • Contribute to the development of BNP Paribas internal IT tool dedicated to credit insurance activity
  • Contribute to optimize the transfer of information of an insured transaction to the Trade Support Team after the signing of the policy
  • Contribute to the monthly or quarterly reports preparation, such as Risk Aggravation, Claim Dashboard, Activity Report, among others
  • Support and get involved in amendments, renewals, waivers, extensions of policies and other ad-hoc requests in the Transaction Banking sector
Profile and Skills to Success
  • University degree in any related area
  • Experience in Front-Office support
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both oral and written, French would be a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Pack
  • Interest in Corporate Banking and Insurance business
  • Analytical and data mindset
  • Ability to deliver/results driven

  • Organised and with sense of priority
  • Ability to deal with various tasks and various contacts
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a proactive communication on key topics with the team
About the Team
  • BNP Paribas credit insurance distribution includes the use of GreenStars, a full fledge Insurer regulated in Luxembourg part of BNPP Group, or direct insurance in the market. CIS has a Group mandate to provide placement capabilities and credit insurance expertise under a centralised business model. Thus, CIS services from Paris, BNP Paribas Group entities & business lines (excl. BNPP Factor + Leasing) for all three Regions worldwide. CIS mandate could be compared to that of an internal broker dedicated exclusively to the distribution for the Bank’s assets.
  • The Transaction Group (TG) is in charge of the execution of newly originated policies and in that respect supports the Origination & Structuring Team (O&S) by being part of the deal team. The mission of TG is to optimize the processing of new transactions while upgrading the set-up. With the objective of helping the O&S team members to achieve performance, the Transaction team is in charge of the execution of new transactions and of supporting the different sector teams in the origination of new transactions.
