You will join the BNP Paribas Securities Services Digital Office, a business team of 40+ resources distributed across Paris, London, Frankfurt, Warsaw and Lisbon. You will manage a team of 5 product managers. 

This position will bring a strong exposure to the senior management and will lead you to exercise your organizational, steering and communication skills. Its transversal dimension will allow you to enrich your network and will offer long term opportunities of career within the Data and Digital Transformation, Client Lines, Client Development teams or more broadly within CIB or the group.

Your Main Activities Are

Within BNP Paribas Securities Services, you will be part of the Digital Office (Global Digital Team) and will manage the Lisbon taskforce. Your main mission will be to benchmark, design, develop and improve 2S digital products for institutional clients (Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Banks, Brokers, and Alternatives).

Digital channels and services represent a front window for the bank and are therefore of great importance. They are built and managed with several objectives in mind : reinforcing the digital offering breadth and depth, reducing the cost to serve, improving the User Experience to retain clients and win new mandates, mitigating the risks related to a complex digital framework.

As part of your function, you will be in charge of framing, designing, piloting and deploying several digital solutions. This will be managed in coordination with all the stakeholders involved: central digital office, business lines, sales teams, operations, IT teams and relevant functions. You will drive these projects in an international environment and those services will be deployed in the 25 + countries in which BNP Paribas Securities Services operates.

On a daily basis, you will intervene in the strategic framing of projects:

  • Propose and develop project strategies and governance in line with the needs of stakeholders and sponsors
  • Coordinate and align participants involved in decision-making
  • Define key actions, milestones and key success factors of projects
  • You will drive these projects
  • Execute and implement the strategy through identified actions and according to the predefined schedule
  • Suggest quality vs cost and risk vs cost trade-offs when necessary 
  • Identify and define actions to manage risks or problems during projects
  • Take into consideration problems, expectations and needs of users
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders
  • Support and challenge operational staff in defining their needs and solutions to be implemented
  • Define target : processes, activities, product and tools based on workshops outputs and document analysis
  • Finally, you will guarantee user satisfaction through product design and the quality of the deployment
  • Product definition (business requirements, business use cases)
  • Communication with developers to enforce the design of digital services 
  • Propose a rollout strategy in line with the needs of stakeholders and sponsors
  • Design content to feed communication media

Profile and Skills to Success

You have 7 to 12 years’ experience as a digital banking product manager or in project management within an International Bank or a Management Consulting Firm.

You have an appetite and curiosity for the field of new technologies, digital services, Corporate & Institutional Banking. You speak English fluently.

You are able to understand the market and the clients’ requirements. You design innovative digital products with a strong delivery mindset (results oriented). Rigorous, organized, and proactive, you are recognized for your ability to facilitate exchanges between stakeholders and for your communication skills. You know how to explain, and drive change. 

Finally, your ability to solve problems, your sense of analysis and synthesis will also be assets for this position.
