  • Within Procurement & Performance, you will join the Procurement Operations Team
  • As a buyer in the Procurement Operations team, your mission is to operate on the internal clients’ behalf, the buying of goods and services (Software, Hardware, Telco, among others), ensuring the respect of regulation and BNP Paribas’ standards, applying category-sourcing strategy and achieving savings target

Your Main Activities Are

  • Support your clients (Worldwide BNP Paribas entities) in their purchasing requests, on an ongoing basis and ensure client satisfaction (quality, costs, processing time)
  • Coordinate RFP (Request for Proposal) processes and analyze suppliers’ offers, manage direct negotiations (majority of the negotiations with the suppliers can occur in English)
  • Negotiate the best price conditions with the providers and achieve savings target
  • Negotiate framework contracts (in French and in English)
  • Involve and coordinate internal stakeholders (IT, Legal, Compliance, Security; mainly French speakers) to get their inputs to build application and framework contracts; and ensure compliance with regulation and BNP Paribas’ standards
  • Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes and tools

Profile and Skills to Success

  • High School
  • Up to 2 years of Experience in Procurement related activities or similar roles
  • Knowledge in IT procurement
  • Being at ease with reading, negotiating and managing contracts (in French and English)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Intermediate/advanced level of French
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong ability for negotiation 
  • Availability and customer orientation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Rigor and excellent attention to details
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Dynamic and proactive attitude
