About the job

  • The Labour Law Counsel will be directly working with the Senior Labour Law Counsel to provide labour-related legal assistance in day-to-day work to the Human Resources Department and to business areas as may be required.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Provide legal support to the Human Resources team related to Portuguese Labour Law matters
  • Review and draft labour contracts and all legal documentation applied in the Human Resources’ Department
  • Prepare, review and/or update internal regulations and policies, as required
  • Render effective legal assistance in the preparation and issuance of legal opinions, studies, reports and correspondence, as may be required
  • Follow up and take part in meetings with Employees Workers’ Councils (“Comissão de Trabalhadores”) and Banking Trade Unions
  • Accompany Human Resources’ Business Partners in individual meetings with employees, whenever required
  • Analyse claims and grievances and, if applicable, prepare all legal documentation required to disciplinarily sanction employees for behavioural and/or professional misconducts

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Law Degree obtained in a Portuguese University
  • Admission to the Portuguese Bar Association
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Portuguese Labour Law
  • Knowledge in data protection law
  • Experience and ability to advise in matters related to Labour Law, including litigation cases

Within our Management control team, you will contribute directly to the day-to-day management of various tasks with multiple interlocutors within the Financial Production and Financial Control and Performance departments.     • An experience of minimum 3 years in a similar position
    • A prior experience in banking, insurance or a consulting firm may be an asset for the position

    • You are proficient in as Excel (advanced functions). Knowledge of SAP, Access, Tagetik, VBA and BI tool is a plus

  • ITO Department of CIB Global Market deals with documentation and operational management of securities issues by BNP Paribas Issuance BV, dedicated to CIB GM and supporting sales teams located mainly in Europe.   • The Finance & Strategy function (F&S) ensures, for the BNP Paribas Group, the production and publication of accounting and financial management statements necessary for the management of the Group, financial and tax optimization along with the external growth strategy. Your Main Activities Are

  • Analyze the requirements from Business Line or Finance (depending on the nature of the project) based on the framing note of the FIP Project Manager
  • Perform technical gap analysis and technical impact study in order to contribute to the framing note delivered by FIP Project Manager

  • The Client Onboarding/Assets Migration Officer mission is to keep high quality services by close monitoring of the different elements, tasks and phases related to client onboarding and assets migration and deliver in due time the milestones agreed.   • The Global Markets Client Support Officer is responsible for the correct and timely production and distribution of various reports (valuation, event notifications and regulatory reports) and for providing the client with an indicative price of their product at a given point in time.
