Your Main Activities Are

  • Control data (positions/balances) between Front Office and Back Office applications
  • Control and validate the performance of customer estimates in Front Office applications
  • Control order flow, between Execution , Front Office and Back Office applications
  • Support and develop end user computing tools (MS Access VBA) for operations, allowing a control on order flow and data flow
  • Participate to the controls of the activity
  • Coordinate various cross-functional tasks between various Operations departments (site support, error account monitoring, among others)
  • Define, produce and exploit quantitative indicators for all Operations departments (monthly) and for the sites (quarterly)

About the Team

  • The main objective of the Quality & Risk Management team is to ensure that the quality of the Operations Department’s production is monitored, including activities under service, contracts with BNP Paribas entities (sites). It also supports the development of WM and product offerings

  • This Institutional Flow Rates Sales role is part of the MAST Sales team for Global Macro (Market Access Sales Team), responsible for the coverage of institutional clients across the world for Global Macro products (specifically G10 Rates)

Within our Management Control team, you will contribute directly to the day-to-day management of various tasks with multiple interlocutors within the Financial Production and Financial Control and Performance departments. YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING & CONTROL TEAM

Throughout the various Budget, Update and Closing phases, you will prepare and monitor the constitution of the result in terms of management vision according to the various applicable standards.

By working in a central department, you will be at the forefront of participating in the transformation of BNP Paribas Cardif.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Participate in the closing process and bring a critical look to the figures reported. Thus, you will ensure their consistency by carrying out the required controls and carry out the necessary analyses to monitor their evolution;
  • Understand how the result is constructed and how operations are translated into accounting in terms of multi-standards;
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of the budget: production of reports, participation in budget and forecast dashboards for the management and the financial department;
  • Participate in tool evolution projects (Power BI, SSAS, Python, Tagetik, etc.) as well as in transformation projects; 
  • Carry out various studies and analyses on ad-hoc topics and themes at the request of management.

AS OUR NEW BUSINESS CONTROLLER, YOU MUST HAVE:

    • An experience of minimum 3 years in a similar position
    • A prior experience in banking, insurance or a consulting firm would be an asset for the position
    • You also know how to immerse yourself in data and the tools to dissect it, while being able to take a step back on subjects through your critical eye and challenge your interlocutors. 
    • You are proficient in as Excel (advanced functions). Knowledge of SAP, Access, Tagetik, VBA and BI tool is a plus
    • You are rigorous, proactive on your work/projects and able to adapt to a rapidly changing and transforming environment
    • Your ability to integrate large volumes of information, to process it, to simplify it and to synthesize it will be key assets to carry out your missions

About the job

  • The Funds Execution Team ensures the execution of all orders on investment funds, in the Wealth Management (WM) business line. At the heart of the Operations HUB, it provides its expertise to numerous WM sites. The team delivers a tailor-made experience, with outstanding attention to details to all WM clients

Your Main Activities Are

  • Execution of investment fund orders with custodians/transfer agents, in compliance with cut-offs
  • Monitoring executed orders, pending’s orders, contract notes and reminders to the counterparties. Also, control the order book (the pre and post execution controls)
  • Processing and responding to internal customer requests in the shortest possible time 
  • Manage the treasury announcements to cover custodian accounts
  • Controls and enrichment of fund values in the referential database
  • Provide support to the customer sites of the WM Operations HUB processing on the platform
  • Quickly manage issues or incidents in collaboration with counterparties and other operational services
  • Participation to the continuous improvement of the team and processes, with frequent suggestions and highlights and participate actively in projects and developments within the team systems
  • Provide training to new joiners
  • Provide feedback and follow-up on specific topics to the Team Leader and act on escalations whenever is requested. Provide also help, and support, the Team Leader on all needed controls (KSP, KPI, Incident Reportings, Service Reviews)

About the Team 

The Data Office team is part of the Data & Digital perimeter in Portugal, within COO scope, functionally reporting to the central CIB Data Office team in France.

Vous intégrerez la Direction Client au sein du département Flux financiers et plus particulièrement le service Analyse des Comptes.     • The Settlement Processing Analyst works within the Securities Transaction Management Department and is responsible for the processing of the main processes which include pre & post settlement activities, clearing, relevant legal documentation, transaction and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope.
