Your Main Activities Are
- Ensure an effective collaboration with all (i) operational resilience officers, (ii) business continuity officers (BCO), (iii) IT Continuity Resilience Officers (ICRO), and (iv) all relevant stakeholders, to garante the efficiency and high-quality of the Business Continuity planning lifecycle activities
- Ensure, on the scope of responsibility, and in close collaboration with concerned BC officers, the execution of the following BC Planning Lifecycle activities: a) The Strategic Assessment of the perimeter eligible to the BCP detailed framework, ensuring an exhaustive and adequate coverage of the organizational units (OU); a quarterly change management process, duly justified by documented rationales; and the collection of evidences of formal approval of the assessments by the right level of management. b) The execution of Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Business Continuity requirements (BCR) and Business Continuity Plans, using CIB standard templates, (i) ensuring structure is optimized to cover global activities across all locations involved, (ii) performing thorough quality checks, (iii) controlling and challenging the consistency and relevance of impact analyses, subsequent continuity requirements and operational recovery procedures, including alignment with Operational Resilience deliverables with Operational Resilience Officers (iv) effectively collaborating with IT Continuity & Resilience Officers (ICRO) to guarantee that business requirements are used to define IT continuity capabilities of the IT applications, and (v) obtaining formal validation by the right level of management. c) The execution of adequate continuity testing programes to ensure that continuity strategies, solutions and procedures are effective, ensuring that preparation, execution, lessons learned and improvement actions are duly documented and steered, and that risks stemming from any dysfunction observed during tests are properly managed through CIB operational risk management processes
- Guarantee the proper execution of control mechanisms to ensure oversight and mitigation of risks (1LoD) and report to the team manager key risks identified through controls.
- Drive the execution of the Business Continuity planning lifecycle activities, through the ability to understand, support and explain change with a clear communication and in a effective manner
- Supervise and assist junior analysts in the execution of their activities and support the training of new joiners, acting as a reference in their learning
- Ensure compliance with CIB and BNPP Group rules and support the remediation/implementation of any audit recommendations issued on the scope by the Inspection Générale and/or any other internal or external supervisory entity on time and in a sustainable manner
- Promote the values of the Business Continuity SSC and the Operational Resilience department, through exemplarity, risk-based mindset and approach, respecting commitments & deadlines and collaborative team spirit

- As part of Finance Second Line of Defense, the Central 2LoD controller on Capital, located in Lisbon, actively supports the Capital Stream Leader, located in Paris, in supervising role of the permanent control framework on the accounting and financial information related to prudential requirements
- Main missions are to maintain the Capital Generic Control Library, together with the relevant people in SMR-Capital Adequacy; to contribute to the correct understanding of the controls to be performed by various 1LoD teams, and by 2LoD Finance teams within the Group; to organize the corresponding certification process for Divisions and Business Lines; report on the quality of the control framework to relevant permanent control governance bodies of Finance & Strategy and of the Group; to define the risk-based approach to be used for the 2LoD testing campaign on controls performed by the central teams; to perform the 2LoD testing on central teams; to prepare a synthesis of the 2LoD testing outcomes on central teams managed scope to be shared in the relevant F&S committees; to follow up recommendations on Capital reporting scope worldwide including IG, external auditors and ECB; and to contribute to internal and external inspections’ requests on permanent control framework on Capital reporting
Your Main Activities Are
- Understand 1LoD teams’ production and control processes
- Be knowledgeable about the Capital Generic Control Library and related procedures

About the job
- As Central 2LoD on P&L and FX Accounting Control team, it will be your responsibility to coordinate the review of the P&L and FX accounting controls prepared around the world by Finance departments, reporting your findings back to management both in the site and at Head Office. You will also be responsible in the central coordination and controls of central adjustments relating to Independent Price Verification (IPV) process or xVAs adjustments
- Based on your expertise of the P&L and FX reconciliations currently performed at the various CIB or non-CIB sites, you will play a key coordination role in any initiative that aims at improving and standardising the control processes
Your Main Activities Are
- Working with local experts in order to review current processes
- Review of the certification results on accounting controls on P&L and FX reconciliations
- Gaining a full understanding of local sites accounting and economic (Middle Office) systems and processes
- Identification of all areas of accounting risk and operational risk in relation to P&L and FX
- Building relations within the sites, including in Finance, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk and some Front Offices
- Identification of a common best practise and publish and implement this procedure in all sites, updating periodically as required
- Perform an in-depth review of local P&L and FX reconciliations to ensure they are being performed to Accounting Control standards
- Report to management on both the annual review findings and the quarterly reconciliations performed in the sites.
- Promote key Finance principles and guidelines in all business sponsored projects impacting P&L processes such as Carry-cash golden source, sell down, reset or FX translation
- Ensure consistency of implementation across various Business lines / P&L systems / locations
- Ensure the coordination and a risk based approach of the effective coverage investigation. Represent FINANCE LoD2 to the associated governance
- Bring functional expertise to 2 top priority projects such as HERACLES and OFS-management reporting module
- Developing the target operating model
- Coordinating the FINANCE platforms (contribution, roadmap, dependencies, escalation)
- Ensuring consistency of requirements across FINANCE platforms
- Accompanying the Finance community in the transformation
- Hold regular (at least quarterly) Internal Control Committee (FORCC) meetings with the regions/entities of the scope to review the accounting control issues
- Contribute to the Accounting and Financial Risk Committee (AFRiC) for the allocated regions and transversal topics
- Hold ad-hoc meetings with Regional Finance when needed
Profile and Skills to Success
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Corporate Investment Banking, either from within a bank or through an external provider (Audit/ consultancy etc.)
- Familiar with CIB accounting and Middle Office systems
- Excellent understanding of P&L and FX reconciliations, processes and activities within CIB
- Knowledge of investment banking activities, especially of Capital Markets products
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Natural ability to learn and understand various general ledgers and Middle office systems
- Strong communication skills and able to effectively interact with people outside of the Finance area and across the world
- Strong Accounting or Middle Office background and control orientation
- Capacity to lead investigations in autonomy, capacity to lead investigation for a task force, coordination of investigation and provide feedbacks

- The Central 2LoD Liquidity & Resolution controller located at Lisbon actively contributes and supports the Liquidity and Resolution stream leader located in Paris in his/her supervision and control role of the reporting produced by the Liquidity Resolution stream, whose main missions are: maintain, together with the relevant people in SMR-Liquidity & Regulatory Reporting, the Liquidity-resolution generic control library; contribute to the correct understanding of the controls to be performed by the 2LoD Finance teams in the Group; organize the corresponding certification process for Divisions/Business Lines; prepare a synthesis of the 1LoD/2LoD certificates and share it with the relevant teams (SALT-R) or committees; define the risk-based approach to be used for the 2LoD testing campaign on controls performed by the central teams; perform the 2LoD testing on central teams; prepare a synthesis of the 2LoD testing outcomes on central teams managed scope to be shared in the relevant F&S committees; follow up recommendations on Liquidity/Resolution scope worldwide including IG, external auditors and ECB; contribute to internal/external inspections’ requests on liquidity/resolution controls topics; coordinate the LROD/LROC annual campaign
Your Main Activities Are
- Understand 1LoD teams’ production and control processes

- Ensure good quality of operations with respects of deadlines
- Analyze and report any anomaly and execution error
- Participation to the permanent improvement of the processes with daily suggestions
- Communication with other back offices teams, relationship managers and other WM entities
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor Degree in Economy, Finance or Management
- At least 3 years of Experience in Back/Middle Office positions
- Knowledge of banking activities and operations, in particular Money Markets, FOREX and OTC Derivatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (MS Excel)
- Fluent in English
- Customer-oriented
- Aware of risk culture
- Adaptability, flexibility and proactivity
