Join our Group Learning & Development team (L&D) within the HUB Group HR in Lisbon, a cross-functional department responsible for defining, managing, and leading the Learning & Development strategy for the BNP Paribas Group. 

Thanks to its strategic positioning and expertise, this team develops cross-functional offers and academies to support the Group’s major transformation projects and key skills identified by the Strategic Workforce Planning exercises. The scope of intervention covers both global and French levels, with a role of coordinating and leading the Learning & Development communities.

Your Main Activities Are

 As a PMO you will oversee project management for GL&D team and lead a robust global Learning & Development governance framework involving a worldwide L&D community and procurement teams. You will report directly to the head of the Group L&D team. You will supervise or lead Project Portfolio Management Office tasks, support GL&D Leadership team and Products Owners. You will lead Learning & Development project management in consolidating, reporting, and controlling key project portfolio information. You will be responsible for steering the team’s activity and budget. You will take a leading role in shaping the visual narrative of pitch decks.

As a L&D Governance Senior Officer you will implement Group Learning & Development governance, prepare, and held committees, key meetings, governance documents, operating procedures, and documentation. You will lead the organization of the strategic Learning Board at Group Level with Group L&D management and key stakeholders. You will lead the implementation of the Learning Offer governance and the Procurement Governance. You will coordinate the implementation of the L&D Governance at entities, territories, and business line level. For Group Function, directly animated by Group L&D. You will be directly expose to key stakeholders and decision-makers in the organization to ensure the implementation of the governance and collect any feedback that helps adapt it to increase global performance of the model. 

Main Responsibilities

Internal Governance

  • With Group L&D leadership Team, you will deploy internal L&D governance towards Group Functions and businesses.
  • You will monitor and reports on L&D initiatives.
  • You will define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training activities, in coordination with the team managers.
  • You will perform group-wide analyses to identify gaps and propose appropriate plans.

Steering the activity

  • You will implement the team’s portfolio management tools.
  • You will identify issues and prepares for decision-making.
  • You will define and monitors activity management indicators.
  • You will prepare and facilitates the review committee of the Products Backlog
  • You will work with the Strategic Product Manager and the Product Owners of the different squads to ensure team consistency.

Budget management

  • You will prepare the budget of Group L&D team.
  • You will steer and monitors billing process, budget commitments.
  • You will prepare and presents frequent budgetary statements.
  • You will work with Finance for periodic exercises (provisioning, year-end budget landing).

In practice, your day-to-day

  • As a Senior Data Analyst you will use data analytical and visualization techniques to solve business issues in different geographies:

  • The mandate of the Documentation Department is to ensure that every OTC transaction done, as well as every associated event to an existing transaction that requires a confirmation, is properly confirmed with the counterparty in due time
  • The Documentation Specialist has deep knowledge over the processes globally and their mission is to participate in the improvement of the quality of service delivered by the Department to the affiliated Sites, for local teams and stakeholders, as well as to participate in the mitigation of the operational risk

    • The RMA Due Diligence Officer is responsible for performing due diligence in counterparties from all Group entities in order to contribute to protect the Bank against reputational, Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) and Fraud risks

Your Main Activities Are

    • Performing Due Diligences on counterparties upon request for opening of RMA Keys (Onboarding)
    • Performing Due Diligences on counterparties with a pre-existent RMA Key according to the Recertification plan
    • Collection documentation for both Onboarding and Recertification scenarios (upon request, retrieving from licensed tools or online investigation) in order to identify the counterparties based on the proofs of existence and to identify the items to screen (related entities and individuals). Also, ensure data and documents are received (this may include a follow up) and archived properly
    • Screening of counterparties and the related entities/individuals, on internal and licensed tools, for both Onboarding and Recertification scenarios, in order to identify eventual sanctions, PEPs and adverse media. The screening process also includes the analysis of the results
    • Filling of a Due Diligence Form in order to present a decision to Compliance and other stakeholders (if required) and make the final decision regarding the acceptance of the counterparty from a Due Diligence perspective. This decision will determine if the RMA key will be open, maintained or closed
    • Contribute to the continual improvement of the team, while ensuring that all new requests are logged accordingly, and escalating concerns or issues as needed
    • Abide by operational risk and control procedures and escalate incidents where necessary
    • Contribute to other projects, as needed

  • The IT Continuity and Resilience Officer will work hand in hand with the Global IT Continuity & Resilience Officer of BNP Paribas Wealth Management (Global ICRO). She/He will work closely with IT Development, IT Production and Third-Party Risk Management teams. Ultimately, when facing risks, the IT Continuity and Resilience Officer will work with IT Risk Management, IT & Business owners of the WM IT Assets, to analyze risks and decide appropriate treatment

Your Main Activities Are

  • Manage the IT Continuity and the Cyber Resilience of WM IT Assets
    1. Coordinate with each IT owner the classification of their asset from an IT Continuity perspective and ensure that it’s consistent with the Business Continuity needs
    2. Coordinate with each IT owner, together with technical architects, and IT production teams or Third-Party providers, to review the implementation of required IT Continuity solutions and make sure there are aligned with IT continuity needs
    3. Make sure IT Continuity Plans (IC Plans) are completed and comply with Group requirements for each IT Asset
    4. Make sure IT Disaster Recovery exercises are scheduled, driven and reported by IT Production teams
    5. Follow-up post-DR exercise action plans
  • Maintain IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) related to IT Continuity & Cyber resilience
    1. Maintain WM IT Continuity policy & procedures, ensuring their alignment with Group-level framework
    2. Ensure compliance with IT Continuity & Operational Resilience requirements from Regulators, especially in Europe and Asia (e.g. DORA in Europe or STDB in Asia)
    3. Respond to Group Cyber Program requirements on IT Continuity and Cyber resilience topics and coordinate necessary actions with WM Business Continuity actors, WM IT Assets owners and WM IT Production teams
    4. Execute Group IT Controls related to IT Continuity, and when facing non-satisfactory controls, ensure remediation actions are timely implemented
    5. Make sure the internal IT GRC tool is complete and accurate: asset classification, compliance with IT continuity requirements, IT Continuity dashboard, IT Continuity plans accuracy, DR Exercise reports, among others
  • Report, Communicate and cooperate with stakeholders
    1. Report on a regular basis to senior management on the progress of IT continuity classification of IT assets, the implementation of required solutions, regular DR exercises and remediation projects
    2. Report on IT GRC tool completeness and accuracy (i.e. coverage level and data quality issues)
    3. Provide metrics and presentation material to WM IT Risk, Cybersecurity and IT Continuity committees
    4. Take part in the awareness and training activities, i.e. keeping documentation up to date, producing training material and animating training sessions
    5. Coordinate with the BNP Paribas Group IT Continuity & Resilience office
    6. Contribute to responses to requests from regulators, internal auditors, partners and customers in terms of IT Continuity and Resilience, or when requested by the Group

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Science
  • At least of 5 years of Experience in IT Continuity Management in an IT Production department or in a Business Continuity department, with effective experience in designing, building, and/or exercising IT Disaster Recovery Plans 
  • Knowledge of IT Continuity, IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity or Cloud Security 
  • Knowledge of IT resiliency mechanisms in IT architecture
  • Knowledge of mechanisms in Cloud-native architecture
  • Knowledge of Norms and Standards in the banking and IT industry
  • Knowledge of collaborative and project management tools (Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, Planner, PowerBI, Confluence, Jira)
  • Fluent in English
