  • The Finance & Strategy function (F&S) ensures, for the BNP Paribas Group, the production and publication of accounting and financial management statements necessary for the management of the Group, financial and tax optimization along with the external growth strategy. It also plays an alert role vis-à-vis of the General Management

Our platform serves EMEA Countries and CFO´s, Group Head Office and also worldwide entities when it refers to projects (Transformations & IT). Your Main Activities Are

  • Analyze the requirements from Business Line or Finance depending on the nature of the project
  • Organize and manage meetings/workshops with stakeholders within Finance project team, Business Lines, IT, Finance end users to design the functional solution of the project respecting methodology and standards
  • Document the functional specifications of the solution to be set up by other teams such as operating systems IT, Finance IT
  • Define and parametrize accounting and reporting rules, according to the standards in terms of norms and systems
  • Define the testing strategy to ensure the quality of the implementation of the project
  • Carry out all accounting and reporting tests of the project
  • Ensure an aftercare support for Finance end users after delivery of the solution
  • Support project managers in implementing project outcomes and follow up outcomes with stakeholders
  • Participate to project committees by sharing actions/decisions status
  • Facilitate the knowledge sharing within the team

About the Team

  • Within Finance & Strategy function, Finance Implementation Projects – FIP teams: Lead the end-to-end implementation of business and regulatory projects by responding to Business Line and Finance requirements; Contribute to transformation initiatives according to the Finance strategy; Implement and maintain a harmonized Finance operating model across BNPP Group; Contribute to migration projects relying on the regional set up in Europe, Asia, and Americas; Collaborate with a FIP community worldwide, ensuring a consistent approach of the Finance projects across the geographies.
  • FIP teams operate for the entire BNPP Group, especially BCEF, BNL, BPLS, BPSS, CIB, FORTIS, IRB, PF, PI

Como ACE Project Manager (ACE = Action for Continuous Enhancement) a tua função consiste em implementar o programa de Melhoria Contínua, suportando-se nas práticas Kaizen, Lean, BPM e Agile, e atuar como agente de mudança, de forma a promover uma cultura de melhoria contínua na Empresa e a contribuir para o aumento da produção, da redução de gastos gerais e da carga de risco, assim como para a satisfação de clientes e parceiros.

About the job

  • The Operational and Permanent Control (OPC) Team Leader is responsible to ensure the coordination of the Control framework relating to all operational risks, including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Compliance, Regulatory, Information & Communication Technology risks, among others. The Team Leader is also responsible for (i) the deployment of internal policies and procedures issued by specialized independent control functions part of Risk teams (2nd Line of Defense), and (ii) the compliance with external regulatory and supervisory requirements.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Team Management at local level
  • Escalate proactively HR issues or blocking points to Central team for decision-making
  • In collaboration with Management Team in Paris, define yearly objectives and perform regular review to facilitate the compensation review process
  • Ensure team is complying with the OPC roles and responsibilities according to Group Procedures
  • Contribute to (i) OPC reporting in a synthetic and comprehensive way, and (ii) the diffusion of risks culture within the bank

About the job

  • The Documentation Drafting and Matching Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the risk undertaken by the business lines. A wide range of products are traded by the Trading desk including Options, Swaps, Forwards, within Oil, Metals, Softs, Energy, Power and Gas and Equities. The Documentation team’s primary function is to support the Trading and Sales desks through the drafting of OTC Physical confirmations for mainly all trades dealt with counterparties
  • The team performs a critical control role in the timely reconciliation of bookings with the confirmation and term sheet. The team is also responsible for notifying all post trade events with clients. The team ensures that all issues are controlled, reported and fixed by working closely with traders, sales people, strategists, IT and Legal, Credit and Compliance. The team is involved in process improvements with special focus on STP processing and management of risk and controls, new product initiatives and development of new business in all regions

Your Main Activities Are

  • Draft legal confirmations based on ISDA definitions for all products including Swaps, Forwards, Options and Hybrid Strategies
  • Trade review of risk booking and term sheets to ensure that they are in line prior to sending the documentation to clients
  • Monitor workflows to ensure the confirmations are prioritised accordingly and ensure the timely dispatch of confirmations
  • Meet regulators timelines targets
  • Issue post trade events notifications to clients such as exercises, restructures and partial or total terminations
  • Direct point of escalation internally on documentation and/or template queries

The program begins with a week of professional training, which will help to enhance your technical and professional skills. You will then be assigned to our regular tasks allowing you to gain the necessary practical knowledge about the business. This role will support two primary teams within the Global Markets Americas Chief Conduct and Controls Office (CCCO): 

  • Front Office Conduct & Surveillance (FOCS): team monitors trading & sales business activity and electronic Communications, with the objective of deterring, detecting, and preventing Conduct Risk breaches. Team develops automated tools for monitoring and performing customized data analytics.

  • Drive and be responsible for the Cash Equities onboarding pipeline and process, including client onboarding maintenance and recertification process
  • Lead prioritization meetings with Business and Client Strategy teams to define prioritization of clients
