Your Main Activities Are
- Responsible for ensuring that all trades are split and allocated correctly and in a timely manner by processing the necessary Block / Splits in the respective systems
- Ensure any trades booked on a Dummy Booking code are resolved and correctly booked within 24 hours
- Ensure all Client Static Data is kept up to date:
– By passing any new or updated information to the NewFunds / On-boarding Teams;
– By performing ad-hoc reconciliations of our records against those of the Clients
- Process all FX Novations, ensuring that:
– The Novation Protocol is followed at all times;
– All internal checks in Val Risk, Collateral and P&L are completed in a timely manner
- Work in close collaboration with the Lisbon FX SATA Team
- Respect of fundamental risk concepts
- Contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework
- Attend relevant training courses to maintain appropriate regulatory, products and technical skills

- The employee will execute the responsibilities within the IT Banking Services department in Lisbon. The employee will be part of the US Custody IT Business Analyst Team, at Portugal. The Team is composed by 14 team members, between USA, India and Portugal
- The Team works mainly on:
- BaNCS is a vendor application developed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and used to manage the US Local and Global Clearing settlement and Custody Business
- Additionally in the perimeter of the US Activity the team could have to participate on some projects/enhancements on these local US Applications:
- INFERNO is an application which converts BaNCS swift messages into Fed Format, and vice versa. This is a 3rd party application developed by Torstone
- CORPORATE UNIVERSE is a third party application, developed by ISS (Integrated Software Solutions), and is used by BNP Paribas Corporate Trust Services in its capacity as DTC FAST Agent for standalone issues, bond processing and record keeping
- M3 (Money Market Manager) is a vendor application developed by SS&C and used by BP2S to manage the US Issuing and Paying Agent (IPA) Business
Your Main Activities Are
- Elicit new requirements for system enhancements
- Manage the change request process for any system updates
- Develop functional specifications for system evolutions
- Test the enhancements before their deployment in UAT phase
- Participate on Market projects and transversal projects
- Follow the various phases of the lifecycle of the projects/release
- Respect workflows, planning and deadlines and ensure a good level of reporting
- Identify product gaps or weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement, as needed
- Communicate and apply project standards

BE PART OF OUR DYNAMIC ACCOUNTING TEAM
Within our Accounting team, you will contribute directly to the day-to-day management of various tasks with multiple interlocutors.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, your role is to establish the general accounting of the companies managed by BNP Paribas REIM France and more particularly of REITs.
YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE ACCOUNTING TEAM
By working in a central department within the accounting team, you will be at the forefront of participating in the transformation of the Finance Department and BNP Paribas Cardif.
Your key responsibilities will be:
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the treatment of:
- Cash flow
- Accounting for current operations on time and with the required quality, in compliance with regulations
- Analysis of the company’s accounting accounts, identifying potential risks and reporting to its manager
- Accounting for the sale and acquisition of real estate
- Regularization of Associated Accounts (Payment of blocked dividends)
- Classification of supplier invoices paid by the collection-disbursement division
You will also analyse the suspenses, make an initial assessment of the amount of provisions necessary to cover the risks induced by the bank and accounting suspenses.
You will close the accounts at the end of the period (quarterly and annual):
- Carry out the cut-off of the accounts and establish the summaries of the balance sheets to be validated by the manager (analysis of unpaid invoices, analysis of tax accounts, clocking of accounting items and reconciliation with management software, analysis of expenses and income, control of re-invoicing and provisioning of accounts)
- Establish bank reconciliations of managed companies
- Draw up the annual accounts and financial tables of the management report.
- You will file tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, property income, DADS2, tax returns, etc.)
- You will assist the Statutory Auditors during quarterly audits.
AS OUR NEW REAL ESTATE FUND ACCOUNTANT, YOU MUST HAVE:
- An experience of minimum 3 years in a similar position
- You have a good knowledge in accounting of SCPI and OPCI (REIT) company accounting
- You are proficient in tools such as Excel (advanced functions), Coda and YourCégid
- You are rigorous, proactive on your work/projects and able to adapt to a rapidly changing and transforming environment
- Fluent in English (C1 or C2 level) – mandatory
- Speaking French (B1-B2 level) would be a plus

- The Continuous Improvement Team Manager’s main mission is to lead a team of Continuous Improvement (CI) project managers and CI trainers and coaches to take Continuous Improvement concepts, tools and culture across the organization, always seeking efficiency opportunities within its scope of activities

- Support the local Senior Managers to drive from the global roadmap, prioritising the local ones to reach local targets

- Lead a team that provides anti-money laundering (AML) / counter-terrorism financing (CTF) transaction monitoring services to BNP Paribas CIB and Securities Services branches across Europe and the world, dealing with areas that include anti-money laundering, terrorism financing, tax evasion, fraud, bribery and high risk clients. - The Finance & Strategy function (F&S) ensures, for the BNP Paribas Group, the production and publication of accounting and financial management statements necessary for the management of the Group, financial and tax optimization along with the external growth strategy. Your Main Activities Are
- Management of the Chart of Account of General Ledger (administration) based on direct requests from the users, in help of production incident or on project needs
- Controls on the projects (Functional architecture, Norms and Projects methodology respected by FIP members, Data Model, General Ledger)
- Implementation of new controls on chart of account parametrization and their review in the continuous improvement process
- Identification of all controls to automatize (Management accounting, External Chart of Account, tables…) and collaboration to their automation with tools such as Power BI, RPA, AI
- Referent of the Project Methodology meaning Define, Update and Review regularly standard document Templates and Deliverables
- Responsible for the maintenance of FIP Standards deliverables detailing the representation of the banking or capital market products in OFS, the target General Ledger of Finance function, namely in collaboration with FIP Regulatory team to integrate the new requirements of the regulators
- Responsible for the training (organization, review of the process, animation of the training …)
- Administrator Finance referential (Chart of accounts and other tables related to OFS, the target General Ledger of Finance function within the Group)
- Control Tower of all the functional part of FIP Project Methodology, meaning: To guide the projects managers and business analysts in the definition of the solutions for the objectives of projects focusing on functional architecture, chart of accounts, data model related to banking or capital market products; To review the deliverables of project teams in order to control and validate their compliance with the standards of chart of accounts and its data model; To support and participate to all FIP committees of a project to validate the FIP deliverables
- Contributor to the permanent control on the FIP project methodology (produce monthly KPI and a synthesis of the results of the different controls)

Your team, FIP Standards, are experts in charge of:
- Definition of the guidelines in project management methodology
- Definition of standards linked to the data model of the general ledger, the data governance principles of the accounting interpreter, and their architecture
- Definition of the training modules of the department ensuring their consistency with the training path
- Definition of processes involved the project management methodology or support to the Finance user
- Validation of main deliverables of projects teams in regards of standards
- Identification and lead of continuous improvement
- Communication and change management on processes requiring FIP Standards expertise
- Integrity of Internal and External Charts of Accounts,
- Validation of OFS parametrization (Financial and Management accounting)
- Permanent control on project methodology
