BE PART OF OUR FINANCIAL ASSETS ACCOUNTING TEAM
Within our Financial assets accounting team, you will contribute directly to the day-to-day management of various tasks: analysis and project monitoring missions related to the financial assets held by our insurance companies.
Reporting directly to the Head of the Financial Assets Division, you will be part of a dynamic and committed team.
YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE FAR DATA TEAM
By working in a central department within the accounting team, you will be at the forefront of participating in the transformation of the Finance Department and BNP Paribas Cardif.
Your key responsibilities will be:
ACCOUNTING PRODUCTION:
- Participate in the closing process with regular checkpoints on specific topics related to financial assets (valuation, control of the calculation: accrued coupons, depreciation, provisioning), assist the business teams on the constitution of internal, group, and regulatory reports;
- Follow up on requests from the auditors at each quarterly meeting;
- Deepen certain technical points on the scope of financial assets and regulatory developments, prepare studies on the integration of new financial instruments and their accounting treatments, contribute to their implementation and participate in them.
CONTROL AND REVIEW FILES:
- Contribute, within its scope, to relations with the statutory auditors by preparing review files on unlisted instruments (private markets and real estate);
- Participate in the control of the work carried out by external service providers essential to the activity and to whom the company delegates essential activities;
- As part of the controls and testing of financial instruments required by the Group’s internal control, prepare quarterly review files.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PROJECTS:
- Participate in the various corporate project preparation and restitution of workshops on the scope of intervention concerned.
- An experience of minimum 3 years in a similar position
- A prior experience in banking, insurance or a consulting firm (in asset management or securities services) may be an asset for the position
- You have a good knowledge in accounting and financial management of market instruments
- You are rigorous, proactive on your work/projects and able to adapt to a rapidly changing and transforming environment
- Your ability to integrate large volumes of information, to process it, to simplify it and to synthesize it will be key assets to carry out your missions
- Fluent in English (C1 or C2 level) – mandatory
- A second language in particular French (B1-B2 level) would be a plus

In practice, your day-to-day

- The Counterparty Risk Senior Analyst is in charge of monitoring, analysis and reporting of market and counterparty metrics related to risks held in the trading portfolios of the bank
- Additionally, is responsible for ensuring the data quality of the metrics produced to monitor such risks and to participate to the continuous improvements of the monitoring, analysis and reporting framework of such metrics

- The role of Senior Market Risk FRTB Analyst is primarily to ensure the coordination, reliability and compliance of regulatory and internal capital production for market, counterparty and settlement risks for the BNPP Group, as well as additional thematically-linked deliverables relating to Resources Management. The team are ultimately responsible for the official calculation, associated analysis / explanation and reporting of Market, Counterparty and Settlement Risk RWA, and additionally for updates of forecasts and simulations delivery, alongside related regulatory demands (such as QIS)
- RISK MFI MI – Capital and Resources is responsible for ensuring that existing (Basel III) and future (Basel IV, Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)) capital-related methodologies and procedures are implemented consistently at Group level and guide consistent implementation at Legal Entity levels, across locations and business lines
Your Main Activities Are
- The senior market risk Capital analyst is primarily in charge of the FRTB transition to BAU as well as the supervision of (and contribution to) the production and reliability of the Capital figures for market risk under the current framework. The scope under management is large, mostly covering the whole BNPP Group for both standard (FRTB SA) and advanced approaches
- With a close collaboration with their team, the senior analyst contributes to the development and implementation of a proper analysis framework allowing to understand the dynamic of the elementary FRTB metrics (Internal Model Approach / Standard Approach) and allowing the team to report and explain those metrics to Businesses, Group Finance and senior management

- The Procure to Pay (P2P) Process and project analyst is in charge of functional designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the standard sourcing to pay solutions platform and related processes, until accounting feeding. - The Procure to Pay (P2P) Supporting Solutions Officer position is in charge of the 1st level of support on the platforms and processes related to the Procure to Pay Solutions bearing the Procurement & Performance processes
Your Main Activities Are
- Provide first-line support on SAP, Ivalua, Readsoft, Concur, BI and internal tools to businesses and entities using the tools in the Group
