Your Main Activities Are

  • The main mission of the DPM Analyst is to support the DPM Portfolio Managers from Switzerland and Luxembourg hubs, namely

About the job

The overall job purpose it to assist the Global Equities and the Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities (FICCC) – Trading Risk Strategy (TRS) teams in their mandate to steer the risk and returns of trading positions.  

This is achieved first by overseeing the production of daily reports of main positions and stress-tests of trading desks, and weekly production of an extended review of those trading desks positions and P&L (profit & Loss). ·        The AML L2 Officer performs an initial review of alerts escalated by AML L1, followed by more in-depth investigations for alerts that warrant an in-depth investigation. AML L2 Officers can make a decision either to close a case (subject to a 4-eyes review) or escalate to AML L3 Local Compliance Teams those cases which may warrant the filing of Suspicious Activity Reports or in any case indicate conduct which appears to sit outside the Group’s risk appetite

  • Deliver a timely and efficient investigation of alerts escalated by AML L1 by ensuring alerts are correctly prioritised by order of date or risk category and by handling the alerts efficiently, working effectively with internal stakeholders to obtain all relevant information
  • Conduct diligent desktop research to assess relevant data for each alert which will often include KYC, payment details, account activity, clients’ counterparts’ business activity, records of counterparts’ owners and directors, location and choice of payment vehicle
  • Write and think clearly and succinctly to produce cogent and incisive investigation reports. The investigation reports should allow the reader to understand the logic of the investigator’s assessment of risks, the conclusions to close or escalate the case and to easily link the investigators’ findings to the evidence collated by the investigator
  • Keep updated on developments around the world and locally in the market concerned so as to make intelligent assessments in a broad range of cases whether the payment flows give reason to suspect any type of financial crime, whether this be money laundering, tax evasion, sanctions circumvention, bribery & corruption, financing of terrorist activity or other types of criminal activity

    • The Market and Counterparty Risk Analyst is in charge of monitoring, analysis and reporting of market and counterparty metrics related to risks held in the trading portfolios of the bank

 * The KYC Data Officer’s primary focus is to gather client data and documentation to construct a KYC (Know Your Client) file to support the due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients

 Your Main Activities Are

 * Initiation and preparation of onboarding/recertification KYC process: understands the purpose of each client on-boarding or recertification request and explains BNP Paribas KYC process to the client.

 * Conducts initial checks against internal data / databases to determine KYC information held within the bank and required documents to constitute “Kick-off pack” to be shared with clients. Additionally, defines the “onboarding/recertification specifications” including multi-site local requirements.

 * Liaises internally with relevant stakeholders for list of required KYC and Regulatory (FATCA, AEOI, MIFID) documents, determines required documents for KYC and performs gap analysis with existing documents.

  • In collaboration with other FIP teams and under the responsibility of the Team Leader, you will be in charge of supporting FIP Lisbon department in its transformation, especially in the axis of Permanent Control, focusing on the definition and implementation of controls plan for FIP Lisbon, and being in charge of executing controls as second level of defence for the department.
