Your Main Activities Are

  • Your missions will be mainly focused around the Passive Currency Overlay daily production process, and the main tasks are the following :
    • Ensure delivery of the daily production
      • Control, analyse & validate the data received from clients provider (Transfer Agent, Fund Accountant)
      • Launch and monitor the automated order generation process in application of the client hedging guideline
      • Control spot, forwards and swap orders generated by the system and investigate in case of warning
      • Follow-up on order transmission with appropriate desk; either BP2S desk as principal or client execution desk.  Follow-up post execution and accurate booking in the PCO Platform
      • Launch and deliver client reporting
    • Monitor and maintain the PCO Risk control plan
      • Control client credit risk limit and liaise with client management to request limit increase when necessary
      • Ensure Global all controls of PCO control framework are done in a timely and effective manner
      • Participate in constant tools enhancement and renewal by maintaining macros and VBA tools
    • Participate to PCO Team activity
      • Participate to the different team meetings  :
      • Participate to the continuous training process to ensure skill sharing across the team
      • Contribute to the identification of improvement areas, suggest and follow up action plan to reinforce the PCO tasks and the control framework
      • Participate to the preparation of new client on boarding in relation with the structuring team.
    • Engaging in different transversal projects
      • Projects can be diverse in terms of topic, duration or scope or skills
      • Ex: FOREX Credit Risk Management, Client Reporting support, Macro tools and coding enhancements, Client service enhancement, new product implementation…
      • Project selection will be done in close cooperation with your manager and will depend on your skills and areas of competence

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Engineering
  • Advanced in English both oral and written (mandatory)
  • Knowlege in:

About the Team

  • Your internship will be within the Market & Financing Services (MFS) department
  • You will be working alongside the team in charge of the Passive Currency Overlay Management (PCO) or known otherwise as “Share Class & Asset Hedging”. Our activity consists in:
    • Production Management on behalf of our existing clients : Market data reception and analysis, hedge calculations and FOREX executions
    • Management of the On Boarding process for both new prospects and existing clients, new and additional business
    • Constant enhancement and upgrade of the production process through periodic launches of new functionalities
