Your Main Activities Are
- Design, develop and maintain develop applications to automate and optimise business processes and internal management reporting
- Develop tools and applications to analyse data (internal and external) to identify trends and opportunities for the business
- Development of a sound understanding of the Primary Markets platform and the new bond issuance process, from mandate through to launch, book building, allocation and booking
- Collaborate and work with on-shore teams to offer solutions to problems
- Assist with new products, and market developments and initiatives
- Apply existing policies and procedures within established guidelines related to Primary activities to all tasks in order to reliably deliver outputs with a high standard of quality
- Work under own initiative where possible, but refer more complex and technical issues to more senior colleagues in a timely manner for resolution and advice
- Prioritise workload as required to support on-shore teams
- Contribute where needed to pre-announcement deal support, including with the preparation of DCM presentations, marketing materials and reports
- Develop strong working relationships with onshore teams in Primary Markets and more broadly in Global Credit, and with other internal counterparts and stakeholders
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English, both oral and written (mandatory)
- Knowledge in:
- Python and front-end experience
- Frontend development frameworks, including React, Solara, Streamlit, Dash
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and LLM application development, including use of frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.
- Skills:

About the Team
- Global Credit, a business line within Global Markets, is responsible for Primary Markets (new issuance) and Secondary Trading of corporate (fins and non-fins) debt and related instruments such as CDS, indices, options and structured products. It comprises different roles such as syndicate, debt capital markets, trading, sales, structuring and desk analysts
- Within Primary Markets, DCM Marketers manage and own the commercial relationship with Issuer clients, and are responsible for originating mandates for public and privately placed bond issuances across currencies, Syndicate Officers manage the execution of new primary bond issuances, with DCM Solutions teams provide product-specific structuring expertise in areas such as liability management, capital solutions, and sustainable capital markets
- The Primary Digital Support team, working closely with counterparts in Primary Markets, will focus on the development and implementation of tools, applications and processes to help the business operate more effectively, and provide on-going assistance for on-shore teams in their day-to-day origination and execution of transactions
