Your Main Activities Are

  • Provide support in improving Know your Client (KYC) file quality, oversight and governess to deliver quality targets expected by the senior management and GCP controls
  • Perform monthly Quality Assurance (QA) on the sample of files allocated by EMEA KYC QA Team Manager and ensure monthly QA result is reviewed with local Due Diligence Team (DDT) management and results finalized before month end
  • Identify root causes impacting KYC quality, agree on fail points with stakeholders and define an action plan for quality recovery and continuous improvement measures
  • Ensure KYC quality recovery action plan is in-place and on-track to address quality weaknesses identified in both Compliance Hub and QA
  • Track remediation of failed files during QA testing
  • Collect KYC misalignment issues from the respective Due Diligence team and add in action log on EMEA KYC QA SharePoint
  • Issue Policy/SOP related guidance and engage with Compliance or GCS Team to find solutions on any complex topics
  • Increase alignment on KYC and financial security processes to harmonize the operational process and thus improve KYC quality
  • Organize and lead monthly meeting with local financial security manager and discuss KYC quality related topics
  • Drive awareness of regulatory requirements and boost expertise of NL KYC Team by working closely with EMA KYC QA Team, CLM Academy, GCS Team and Compliance functions
  • Organize and lead regular TEA (training, education and advisory) meetings with the dedicated Due Diligence Team (on-shore and off-shore)

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Experience in Client Management, Compliance or Audit
  • Knowledge of KYC procedures
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage or facilitate a meeting, seminar, committee or training
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong attentiveness to detail

About the Team

  • EMEA KYC Quality Assurance Team is responsible for undertaking quality controls and provide support to the EMEA Due Diligence teams by providing KYC training, guidance and feedback based on Compliance and Regulatory expectations
  • The team acts as liaison where necessary between the Compliance functions to clarify policy points that need clarification and ensures governance of any gaps in the KYC quality targets, providing action plans to relevant local or regional CLM management to increase the quality
