About the job
Join our Group Learning & Development team (L&D) within the HUB Group HR in Lisbon, a cross-functional department responsible for defining, managing, and leading the Learning & Development strategy for the BNP Paribas Group.
Thanks to its strategic positioning and expertise, this team develops cross-functional offers and academies to support the Group’s major transformation projects and key skills identified by the Strategic Workforce Planning exercises.
Job Purpose
As a Scrum Master – PMO in Learning & Development you will be part of the Leadership Team and has a dual role.
You will support the different Squads in adopting and adapting the Agile ways of working, in accordance with agile Values, Principle, Practices and Tools on daily basis.
You will ensure an efficient, focused, continuous flow of work in the team. You will be responsible for steering the team’s activity and budget. You will work with cross functional teams, manage key meetings, seminars and ensure alignment with shareholders to contribute to deliver impactful L&D projects.
Your Main Activities Are
As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for orchestrating the flow of work of the Tribe (Team) composed of 4 Squads.
• You will facilitate the Agile ceremonies and rituals of the Teams to create an environment where the Team is effective and collaborating smoothly.
• You will support the Team during sprints giving them the isolated environment and the good atmosphere for effective work.
• You will strive to prevent interpersonal conflicts.
• You will orchestrate clearing obstacles and impediments by the Team to ensure the iterative and fast delivery to create high value Products.
You will help the Team to effectively manage the Product Backlog with the Product Owner and supports the next sprint planning.
• You will participate in the Life and the Ceremonies of the Teams she/he belongs to (Squad, Tribe & Chapter), constantly sharing Agile Values & Principles.
• You will promote, as a change agent, new ways of working, efficient communication & interaction between Squad members, outside the Squad and with stakeholders.
As a PMO you will support the Leadership Team and especially the Strategic Product Manager on their daily activities or projects.
Steering the activity
• You will implement the team’s portfolio management tools.
• You will identify issues and prepares for decision-making.
• You will define and monitors activity management indicators.
• You will prepare under the supervision of the Strategic Product Manager the roadmap at team level.
• You will prepare and facilitates the review committee of the Products Backlog
• You will work with the Strategic Product Manager and the Product Owners of the different squads to ensure team consistency.
Budget management
• You will prepare the budget of Group L&D team.
• You will steer and monitors billing process, budget commitments.
• You will prepare and presents frequent budgetary statements.
• You will work with Finance for periodic exercises (provisioning, year-end budget landing).
Profile and Skills to Success
You have a solid background as Scrum Master ideally in a global organization. You excel in project management, aligning initiatives with business goals and managing resources effectively. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills help keep projects on track and transparent. You have a proactive approach to problem solving and adaptability driving continuous improvement and innovation within organization
