About the job
- The Senior Project Manager’s mission consists in the definition, design and implementation of a solution that meets a new requirement expressed by a client, taking into account the resources allocated, the deadlines and the Group’s applicable best practices.
Your Main Activities Are
- The candidate will be responsible for implementing both new initiatives and enhancements to existing functionality to meet business needs, regulatory needs and for overall platform maintenance/resolution of technical debt for the Prime Technology Perimeter
- Initiatives will support the Program Management and Transformation perimeter of Prime Technology to manage specific projects or transversal projects in partnership with the organisation
- Specifically the candidate will be responsible for leading key Global initiatives. This role sits within the Global Transversal Program Management team, allowing for opportunities to explore other topics within Prime Technology and beyond
- Defining high quality technical solutions in line with bank architectural standards within constraints of current technology platform. This can include the exploration and implementation of new technologies with enhance product offering and provide BNP with a competitive edge
- Seek simplification and rationalization of the business, systems and processes to improve straight-through processing
- Developing the platform whilst ensuring integrity of existing production processes
- Will participate in all stages of development from high level design, estimation, through more detailed design, manage development, unit testing and delivery
- Progressing topics either autonomously or leading offshore developers, giving guidance, mentoring and further development of the team. Planning of resource usage in line with assigned budget and timelines
- Engagement with BA/PMs to provide input into analysis tasks, and communication with business sponsors
- Progress monitoring, reporting and escalation to ensure adequate management visibility of progress, risks and issues
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology / Project Management and/or Business Analysis
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Ability to collaborate / teamwork
- Ability to manage a project
- Communication skills, both written and oral
